Who is it for? Contract roasting or 'white label' roasting is a way for companies to create and market their own coffee without the expensive logistical pitfalls of running their own roasting plant. In fact many companies are able to increase their margins by outsourcing the entire roasting and packaging process. It is also suitable for companies seeking to enlarge their portfolio of products, and for smaller companies looking for a point of difference. 

How does it work? After an initial phone consultation we'll arrange a coffee tasting session with a range of green coffee and roast profiles. We can look at specific flavour requirements or ethical standards, including Fairtrade certifications, Organic certification, SALSA and Rainforest Alliance. Once we have a coffee that meets your requirements, a final roast profile is created and stored into the software on the roaster to be replicated exactly every time. 

From there we look at packaging- many customers come to us with fully developed packaging already in place. For those that don't, we can offer advice and hold a wide range of samples. We can give you advice on price points, MOQs and how to manage a wide range of SKUs.
