PRODUCTION ROASTER AND PACKER
Salary: From £18,500.00 per year
We are a looking for a proactive and energetic individual, who is not afraid to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, to take on the role of production roaster and coffee packer. Initially, this is a fixed term 6 month contract to cover maternity leave, with a preferred start date of the 4th of January.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:
- Day to day production roasting
- Basic cleaning of the roasting equipment.
- Fulfilling coffee orders- bagging, and picking orders and preparing for dispatch
- Dispatching online orders
- Accepting incoming deliveries, unloading of stock
- Warehouse management- ensuring high levels of organisation and cleanliness are maintained in the Roastery
Essential
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work on their own for periods of time
- Physically fit- heavy lifting required
- Customer service experience. Whilst this won’t be a customer facing role, there may be times when some engagement with the public will be necessary so good people skills and a polite, friendly manner are essential to the role.
Desirable
- Warehouse experience
We're a friendly and supportive close-knit team. We operate from 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, and the contract is for 40 hours per week, for 6 months initially. Discounted food while on shift and of course, unlimited coffee to drink.
Contract length: 6 months
