Salary: from £22,000 up to £28,000, depending on experience Start Date: October 2021 with interviews in late September/early October.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised service engineer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing business in an exciting industry, with scope for expansion. The person will be responsible for our in-house engineering needs, including maintaining espresso machines and grinders, responding to emergency call outs, and arranging regular services. You will need to be enthusiastic, customer service focused and be able to think outside of the box. You will need to display some technical aptitude (a basic knowledge of plumbing and electrics would be an advantage) and be able to work under pressure. You will need a full, clean driving licence. Regular hours are Monday to Friday 8am-4pm but you may be expected to work outside of these hours on occasion, so a flexible attitude is a must. In addition, the role also involves delivering wholesale coffee orders to our various customers throughout the region on a weekly basis.
Installation and set-up of espresso machines and grinders
Carrying out preventative maintenance on espresso machines and grinders
Responding to emergency breakdowns and fault finding
Liaising with customers as well as building and maintaining relationships
Managing own diary, scheduling appointments, invoicing customers and providing service reports, so good organisational skills are a must.
