Loose Leaf Nam Lanh, Cinnamon & Clove Tea
This Fairtrade Nam Lanh black tea is from the Yen Bai region of Vietnam. Many of the indigenous wild tea trees from which the tea is harvested are thought to be more than 300 years old. The deep roots access minerals in the soil, giving the tea its characteristic flavour and long after-taste. The Hmong and Dao tribal communities have been harvesting tea for their own use for generations, and each village has a communal tea processing drier. This enables them to make valuable incomes from selling the fresh leaves, further benefiting from the Fairtrade relationships that also allow them to command higher premiums. Enjoy with or without milk.
